The academic program requires bachelor’s degree students registered in or before 2014-2015 to take 6 credits of English courses, starting in the second semester of the first year of the degree program.
Students in bachelor’s and master’s degree programs can earn the 4 credits for Other activities by taking a second language course (Arabic, Chinese, French, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and German).
Students who choose to take a second language do so according to procedures that will be published. Specifically:
- For bachelor’s degree students the possible choice of a second foreign language will have to be made at the end of the first year of the program. Students will have to attend this course starting in the second year of their program.
- For master’s degree students the possible choice of a second foreign language will have to be made at the end of the first semester of the first year. Courses will be held in the second semester of the first year and in the first semester of the second year.
All students can attend language courses, regardless of their level of proficiency.
Classes are held on Saturday morning.
